Embracing the Unfinished

This week I found myself resisting the urge to perfect every little detail. Instead, I embraced the beauty of the unfinished.

• Home ownership continue to be both rewarding and stressful. The sewage system renovation is still on going and we are now looking at the 20k renovation bill. We do have some prepping for this type of expenses but damn, that is a lots of money. My front yard still looks like a war zone btw.
• A parenting milestone: potty training is finally working! The small wins deserve celebrating too. Finally, no more poop and pee as a perfume.
• Work and life have both feel a little unpredictable lately. While not every question has been answered and I'm still figuring out the next steps, I'm trying to be ok with the uncertainty and just take it one day at a time.
• Japan trip is getting closer and I'm getting more and more excited about it. Packing and prepping is in progress because it's never easy with 2 kids.
